Where Do They Take All The Trash?

Some trash can be burned, and it goes in big trucks to a special plant where they do the burning. It's called an incinerator plant. Other trash won't burn. So trucks take it to the dump. Not too long ago every household had to dispose of its own garbage and trash. Now this unsavory chore is managed by civic authorities. Combustible refuse is incinerated in plants at temperatures of 750-900 degree Celsius. Non burnable material is hauled away to dumps or used as landfill. Experiments have shown that resources such as metals can be extracted from both kinds, and that both can also be processed into fertilizers or fuels.
