Computer virus works just like an virus in biological terms. In same way, Computer virus can easily harm the computer from its working. It can even destroy the data that is being stored on to a computer. Virus are normally a piece of software that will affect other software programs. When a computer possess a virus it runs along with some software program and diminish the working performance. There are many types of virus and can transported easily. Many virus travel through visiting websites, opening a mail and pen drive. For eg, when an e-mail containing virus is opened, without any alert ,the virus transfer in to the system. It will start running along with system codes. These viruses has the capability to edit or remove some of the important files in the computer which are used to run it. So to avoid this, it is mandatory to have an anti-virus in each and every computer.
