Glass is an object of transparency which can be mould to any desired shape and size. Glass is a mixture soda , lime and silica from a sandstone. This process is executed at very high temperatures and keeping its lower melting point rate as low as desired. This takes place at melting furnaces with a temperature of 2500 degree Fahrenheit approximately and for about 24 hours .This results the mixture to get into a molten state and looks like thick liquid in orange-red color. Suddenly cooling of the molten liquid forms a rigid shape and results to a glass. This process is extended to blown ,pressed or rolled to get the glass in desired shape and size. Some materials can be added during this process , to change the shape , size , stiffness and get designs on the glass. Many glasses comes with different colors and designs in order to decorate any buildings or a particular place. To make a glass bulb , air is blown at the one end of hollow iron pipe which is covered with molten liquid. Cutting and drilling is an fine art in glass. Various methods are available like using glass cutter wheel, heating a narrow strip of glass and finally using a diamond to cut and drill the glass.
