Why Do We Pull Weeds?

Weeds are very strong and take away the water and fertilizer we use to help vegetables and other foods grow better. If this happens, the vegetables will not be able to grow big. Also, if the weeds grow tall, the vegetables get all the water, fertilizer and sunshine that they need to become big. Weeding is an important part of farming. Cultivated plants would lose out at the more vigorously growing weeds without regular weeding. unlike cultivated crops and flowers, the strong, wind-borne seeds of weeds will sprout and grow on untilled ground, even if they are not covered with soil. Many have elaborate root systems that survive even when the plants are cut.
