Bridget’s third diary!

Renee Zellweger has agreed to play the part of the rather clumsy chubby Bridget Jones for the third time! The first film in the series released in 2001 and grossed $282 million worldwide; the sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, which hit screens in 2004, made a good $262 million. Hence studio bosses at Working Title decided to make a third and asked Renee to reprise her role. She was only too happy to sign on the dotted line. Word has it that the movie will be about Bridget trying to have a baby in her 40’s. Insiders say that Colin Firth and Hugh Grant are expected to return as well.
