Even turtles can catch fish. Most people think a turtle can't move fast at all. But sometimes it can. It will move up on a fish very quietly at night when the fish is asleep. Then suddenly it catches the fish in its mouth and eats it. On land, turtle's usually move very slowly, but in the water they can get around very quickly. It is not all unusual for them to catch crayfish or sleeping fish. Most turtles are nocturnal animals. On fine days they often can be seen resting on a rock or on the shore, drying out their shells in the sunshine to prevent the shells from becoming moudy.
